This month we continue to see a whole host of evenings when the nighttime spectacular at the Magic Kingdom, "Happily Ever After" will not be performed due to Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party which kicked off on August 11. Splash Mountain remains closed in order to undergo its reimagining to Tiana's Bayou Adventure which is set to open in late 2024.īlizzard Beach continues to be closed with a reopening date still not confirmed, however, it appears that from the official Walt Disney World calendar that there are no scheduled hours for either water park from October 1 onwards meaning Disney could be considering a closure for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and a reopening for Blizzard Beach in the near future. ![]() Last month, the Haunted Mansion closed for a short refurbishment to begin the installation of The Hatbox Ghost. Here are a few big, upcoming changes that are either confirmed by their respective parks or at the least very strongly rumored for the very near future. Disney parks are constantly changing their refurbishment schedules, making it difficult for guests to keep up with the operating times and latest news regarding their favorite attractions, resorts, shops, and restaurants.
